Cotur Travel chairman Noor Momade is looking to a reduction in airfares to make air travel more accessible for Mozambicans.
Momade points out that air travel is of great importance in attracting foreign tourists, but also for domestic tourism in Mozambique, especially taking into account the negative impact of Covid-19 on the tourism sector.
The chairman of Cotur Travel believes that tourism is in a position to recover quickly from the effects of Covid-19, but underlines that the airlines and the government must work together.
Momade was speaking this Monday in a webinar on “Air Transport Challenges to Serve Domestic and International Tourism in Mozambique” promoted by Aeroportos de Moçambique, with co-panellists LAM-Mozambique Airlines chairman João Pó Jorge, Redi Yusuf, chairman of EMA – Ethiopian Airlines Mozambique, and Emanuel Chaves is the Chairman and CEO of Aeroportos de Moçambique..
