O País
Transmarítima workers paralysed activities in the city of Maputo this morning, demanding the payment of two months’ salary arrears. The group is also demanding the expulsion of the current top management, comprising the three directors and the chairman of the board [PCA].
The workers barred the doors of the company’s administrators with wood and nailed posters with slogans such as “Out PCA”, “PCA To the Street” and “Stop Administrators” across them.
The workers claim the company is mismanaged and say that they are persecuted when they demand their rights.
