Traffic restrictions in Maputo: R. KaNwalanga – Av. da ONU stretch closes for 45 days

Traffic is closed between Rua KaNwalanga (under the Maputo-KaTembe bridge) and Av. da Organização das Nações Unidas (ONU) in Maputo city, due to reconstruction work which began in December,
Traffic is expected to be restricted for a period of 45 days.
The municipal authorities recommend that motorists wanting to leave Maputo’s Baixa use Rua das Estâncias, Av. Josina Machel and Av. 24 de Julho.
The municipality also asks motorists to pay special attention to signage erected on-site.
