Chapo calls on young Mozambicans to build economic independence
The request for a special holiday [tolerância de ponto], presented by the President of the Municipal Council of Beira City, Daviz Simango, for Wednesday, the day when the funeral ceremony of Renamo leader Afonso Dhlakama will be held, has been rejected.
According to information held by Folha de Maputo, the Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security, has considered that there is no legal framework to accommodate the wishes of the Mayor of Beira, and therefore rejected the request.

At the funeral ceremonies tomorrow, the presence of the President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi has been confirmed.
