The city of Mocuba, in Zambézia central Province, celebrates on Friday, February 12, its 45th anniversary.
The Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security, Victoria Dias Diogo, according to the Labour Law and in response to the request made by the City Council, has granted a special holiday (‘tolerancia de ponto’) to all workers and civil servants in Mocuba throughout next Friday, February 12 2014, to allow them to celebrate the day.
The ‘tolerancia’ does not cover essential emergency services.
Mocuba became a city through Ordinance No. 87/71 of 12 February, reports Diario da Zambézia.
