Public company Mozambique Telecom (Tmcel) needs between US$350 million to US500 million over the next five to ten years for investment in modernising and expanding its mobile phone services.
The chairman of the Tmcel board of directors, Mohamed Rafique Jusob, was speaking on the sidelines of the signing of a memorandum with the Chamber of Commerce of Mozambique in Maputo on Thursday.
Jusob said that Tmcel wanted to recover customers lost in the evolution of the telecommunications market in the country, and take the lead in providing services and delivering customer satisfaction.
