Three people exiting the Afungi peninsula in Cabo Delgado province, which has a record of confirmed coronavirus cases, are in mandatory home quarantine in Sofala.
The individuals, identified following popular tip-offs, are observing quarantine conditions in the districts of Beira, Nhamatanda and Marromeu.
The information was released this Monday by the Secretary of State for Sofala province, Stela Pinto Novo Zeca, at a meeting of the Public Health Emergency Committee.
