According to A Verdade, a Mozambican citizen (identified as 30-year-old A. A. Munguambe) was kidnapped on 14 September, bringing the number of kidnap victims to three in the space of a week.
Munguambe, much like Abdul Satar and his brother Issufo Mahomed, remains in the custody of his abductors.
He was kidnapped at approximately 16:50hrs from the fuel station located near the Zimpeto market on the outskirts of Maputo.
According to A Verdade, the kidnappers have not maintained contact with the victim’s relatives, which is “strange”.
No additional information is available at this time.
