The triplets are here! And 28-year old Lurdes Gabriel is now the happy mother of 12

Lurdes Gabriel recently gave birth to triplets for the second time in Namuno, Cabo Delgado, in the north of the country. In addition to the (double) triplets, the 28-year-old has twice had twins. In fact, Lurdes has had only two single-baby deliveries of her total of 12.
The children’s father, Celso Basilio is happy if surprised at having so many mouths to feed, while the only explanation Nurse Esperança Calisto of Namuno’s Health Centre can offer for Lurdes’s having so many children at the age of 28 is that she has “a very fertile womb”.
