Mozambique: DP World launches expansion project at Port of Maputo - AIM report

A CETA (Construction Education and Training Authority) delegation, mandated by the South African Ministry of Higher Technical Education, has visited the Industrial Association of Mozambique (AIMO), on March 2, for a working session. The delegation was represented by Sabelo Wasa, Administrator of CETA, Mr. Phehello Tsotetsi, Advisor in the Office of Administrator of CETA and Mrs. Nomawethu Sejake, Consultant of Projects.
The visit to AIMO had the following goals: (i) setting up the environment to promote training and training of trainers, via mobilisation of finance; (ii) creation of exchange programs between Mozambique and South Africa and long-term internships for trainees and trainers in RCA (Recognition of Acquired Skills); and (iii) implementation of the M2 Hut platform for training management.
CETA is a Construction Education and Training Authority responsible for financing training programs, in line with the guidelines of the South African Government, namely National Skills Development Strategy (ENDC III), to ensure that people obtain critical skills that are necessary to develop the capacity of the construction sector to become economically sustainable and globally competitive.
