Such were the sentiments expressed on Friday (01-04) during the Extraordinary Session of the Secretariat of the Provincial Committee, extended to other executives and guided by the President of Frelimo and of the Republic of Mozambique, Comrade Filipe Jacinto Nyusi.
At the meeting, Nyusi openly debated with party cadres important issues of political, economic and social life in the country in general and Cabo Delgado in particular, patiently following the critical gaze of party cadres in relation to the development process of the province and the country in general, and about provincial and municipal decentralisation, the functioning of the party and its social organisations, and the process of preparing the party, OMM and OJM congresses, as well as the ACLLN National Conference.
On the occasion, the Comrade President urged party cadres to back unity and cohesion between the members and leaders of the party and the bodies of the decentralised governance system, to increase their commitment to broadening the party’s social base, attracting more new members, and strengthening the party’s revenue-raising capacity, with fees one of the main sources.
President Nyusi recognised the province’s commitment to fighting terrorism and Covid-19, and to the fight for development.
