Tete celebrates another birthday

City of Tete residents today celebrate the city’s 58th anniversary. Minister of Labour and Social Security, Vitória Diogo, has declared today a special holiday for workers there so that they can participate in commemorating the elevation of their home town to city status.
The day off does not however extend to workers whose activity it is not in the public interest to suspend, according to article 205, paragraph 4 of the Labour Law.
