Fifty-two companies in Tete province have resumed their activities following the relief of some Covid-19 prevention measures.
These companies are among the many which had suspended their activities due to the negative impact caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
In a message on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of OTM-Central Sindical, the Secretary of State for Tete province, Elisa Zacarias, said that in the last quarter and with the Covid-19 pandemic, 214 workers were affected.
In all, 42 companies closed their activities, terminated contracts with workers and other companies, or arranged collective vacations for their workers due to Covid-19.
