Terrorists attack villages in Muidumbe and Mocímboa da Praia districts – Carta

Despite the intensification of shelling in some parts of Muidumbe, Mocímboa da Praia and Quissanga districts, terrorists actions in northern Cabo Delgado province continue, “Carta de Moçambqiue” reports..

This Monday, insurgents attacked the villages of Awasse and Miangalewa, in Mocímboa da Praia and Muidumbe districts respectively.

According to sources, the attacks started in the morning and lasted throughout the afternoon, ending only at nightfall. There have been no reports of fatalities or injuries, just destruction of property.
