Mozambique: Borders open, tourist sites safe despite urban area protests – govt

A TAP (Portuguese Airlines) aircraft which left Maputo with 200 passengers early on Thursday for Lisbon in Portugal, had to return to its point of departure due to a technical failure in one of its engines.
The plane took off from Maputo International Airport at 7:35 a.m. but had to return at 9:10 a.m..
According to TAP, all passengers were accommodated in Maputo hotels and were to travel to Lisbon today, Friday, reported A Bola yesterday.
