Mozambique: Idle land reverts to the State in Manica province, 221,628 hectares in H1
(2016-01-07) A study carried out in collaboration with the Institute of Social and Economic Studies (IESE) concludes that agricultural projects developed by emerging countries in Mozambique (Brazil and China), don’t improve productivity, despite the potential and the positive experience they bring from their countries.
The case studies are the ProALIMENTOS projects, developed in 2010 and implemented in 2011 with the support of Brazilian and American government, and the project known as the Centre for Research and Agricultural Technology Transfer Umbelúzi (CITTAU), announced in 2007 and launched in 2009 with the support of China, both developed in Boane district.
