Mozambique: Health system faces shortage of BCG vaccine

Students of the Institute of Health Sciences of Beira are helping to alleviate the absence of striking doctors at Beira Central Hospital (HCB).
On a visit to the hospital in the company of the director of the respective First Aid Bank, Ricardo Molinho, Noticias found that normal patient care was being provided.
“Here at the Emergency and Resuscitation Service at the Hospital Central da Beira we are working normally and with all the offices in full swing. However, there may be some restrictions in other departments that are outside our remit,” Molinho claimed.
