Strong winds and rain fell 10 electricity poles in Cuamba-Mecanhelas

Strong winds and rain felled ten electricity transmission poles yesterday in Niassa province’s Cuamba-Mecanhelas section.
Mozambique Electricity (EDM) have already re-established power supply to the village of Entre-Lagos, while work reconnecting Mecanhelas was under way.
Angelo Reis, EDM’s representative in Cuamba, said yesterday that electricity would soon be restored in the region.
