Still up against the dollar, Euro trades above 72 meticais in Mozambique

The Euro again appreciated against the US dollar last week, causing the Mozambican currency to depreciate slightly against the European currency.
In average terms, the Euro was bought in Mozambique last week for at 72.67 meticais, ten metical cents of more than the previous week’s average.
In turn, the sale was made at 74.08 meticais for each Euro, up 11 metical cents according to the weekly averages calculated by Lusa from Bank of Mozambique figures.
The average purchase price of the Euro during last week ranged between 72.38 and 73.32 meticais, while the selling price ranged between 73.79 and 74.73 meticais.
The Mozambican currency maintained the exchange rate practically unchanged against the US dollar last week with purchase averages at 60.85 and sale at 62.02 meticais.
