Mozambique: LAM to purchase five new aircraft by December

Moza Banco, in partnership with the African Development Bank (ADB) and the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, has announced the launch of a business management training program for small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
The program covers and is already underway in Maputo, Sofala and Nampula provinces and at this stage about 200 SMEs are enrolled and finding out how to face one of the biggest challenges that SMEs face: getting bank credit.
The training program is part of Moza Bank and ADB efforts to promote the growth of Mozambican SMEs and increase their contribution to the country’s economic and social development. In November 2014, Moza Banco and the African Development Bank launched a joint US$ 9 million credit line for Mozambique’s SMEs.
