SA’s International Relations Minister and US Secretary of State have agreed to meet all American companies based in South African – to brief them about the land reform process.
Lindiwe Sisulu and Mike Pompeo met in New York after a series of UN meetings.
Sisulu has emphasised that land restitution will be undertaken within the framework of the Constitution.
Pompeo is the man that US President Donald Trump tasked with investigating land expropriation in South Africa.
This came after Trump was widely criticised for tweeting about farm and land seizures and large-scale killing of farmers in South Africa.
He’d based his information on a Fox television programme.
