Shoppers queuing since midnight as Black Friday craze hits Maputo

The area outside the Game store in the Baia Mall in Maputo was invaded by customers eager to buy goods, especially electronics, marked down by as much as 50% in the so-called ‘Black Friday’ promotions.
People have been queuing outside the front door of the store in the new mall since midnight, even spilling over into the parking lot.
Taking advantage of the opportunity to buy gifts for the upcoming December festivities, or getting the TV they’d always dreamed of were among the reasons people in queue gave Folha de Maputo for their patience.
