The President of the Republic, Mr Danny Faure, will proceed on a state visit to the Republic of Mozambique from 19 to 22 May 2019. His state visit is at the invitation of Mozambican President, Mr Filipe Nyusi.
During his visit to Mozambique, President Faure will also participate in the Conference on the Blue Economy on 23 and 24 May, where as the Champion as the Blue Economy for Africa, he is the guest of honour. The conference is being held in Maputo under the motto ‘Sustainable and Shared Exploitation of the Ocean’.
Following the Conference on the Blue Economy, President Faure will proceed to Pretoria, South Africa, to attend the inauguration of the sixth President of the Republic of South Africa, Mr Cyril Ramaphosa, on 25 May.
President Faure will leave the country on 19 May and return on 26 May 2019.
