Seven practitioners have been expelled from the Association of Traditional Healers of Mozambique (AMETRAMO) in Inhambane.
They are charged with witchcraft, levying illegal charges, using misleading advertising and other practices bringing the profession into disrepute.
According to AMETRAMO’s Maimuna Ibrahimo, thirty calabashes belonging to the expelled practitioners were also burned.
