Salema to head Electoral Institute

Journalist Ericino de Salema will head the Electoral Institute for Sustainable Democracy in Africa (EISA) in Mozambique beginning January 2019.
Salema, who was kidnapped and assaulted this year, will replace Miguel de Brito, who ran the organisation for 12 years.
Also a lawyer, Salema has in recent years worked in international organisations dedicated to development and human rights, such as Ibis and Oxfam.
