Rwandans die in road accident in Matola

Three Rwandan citizens died and another three were seriously injured in a car accident in the city of Matola, Maputo province, on Thursday morning (October 18).
Law enforcement officials said the victims were travelling in a car with the registration AEY 101 MC, which caused the accident by cutting across a truck, registration AGU 220 MC, which was carrying bread.
The accident happened between Eduardo Mondlane and Josina Machel Avenues, and the Mozambique police said that speeding and a road surface rendered slippery by recent rain could have been the cause.
One of the victims was transferred to Maputo Central Hospital after receiving treatment at Matola Provincial Hospital, where the other two victims remained at the time of going to press.
