Russia and Mozambique sign memorandum on military-naval cooperation

On April 4, Russian Minister of Defence Sergey Shoigu and his Mozambique counterpart Atanasio M’tumuke signed an agreement simplifying visits of Russian military vessels to Mozambique ports.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defence (MOD), the countries also signed a memorandum about military-naval cooperation. The Russian MOD says the memorandum will contribute to the development of military interaction.
