The preliminary results of the investigation into the crash of the helicopter piloted by Mozambican businessman Rogério Manuel were announced in Maputo on Thursday.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Civil Aviation Institute of Mozambique João de Abreu said there was no indication of mechanical failure or adverse weather conditions in the helicopter crash in which Manuel died last December.
Abreu said the inquiry concluded that Manuel was not qualified to fly a helicopter in situations of poor visibility.
