Algeria wants joint venture with Mozambique for electrical equipment factory and a power plant
The theme sets the tone for a hybrid event that takes place on May 25th in Maputo, Mozambique, and also online.
The (Lusophone Renewable Energy Association (ALER) and the Mozambican Renewable Energy Association (AMER), in partnership with EDM – Electricidade de Moçambique and with the support of GET.Invest Mozambique – financed by the European Union and Germany, and integrated in the European program GET.invest – are organizing the hybrid event ‘Renewables Storage and Grid Integration in Mozambique’, which will take place on Wednesday, the 25th of May, at the Indy Congress Hotel in Maputo, with online transmission.
The objective of the event is to present the current status and future developments of renewable energy projects and of the electricity grid in Mozambique, as well as to discuss solutions for the storage and the integration in the grid of the production from renewable sources, as well as analyse the existing technical and regulatory framework.
Registration for participation in the event, in person or online, is free but mandatory.
The day before the conference, on the 24th of May, also at the Indy Congress Hotel, takes place the 4th Edition of the ALER Open Day, an unique opportunity to obtain first hand knowledge on the latest developments in the Angolan and Mozambican markets, and listen in person to representatives of official entities from each of the countries.
