Mozambique: Calls for debate on' health' of Renamo after election losses - Watch

Renamo wants to sign a definitive agreement with the government by December of this year, Inacio Reis, political adviser to party leader Afonso Dhlakama for the northern region of the country said on a recent visit to Cabo Delgado province.
Reis, who is also a member of the Council of State, acknowledged there was progress in the military and political dialogue, but said that Renamo has had enough of the slowness of the process.

Noting that December is near, Inacio Reis recommended that both the Renamo and government delegations, along with party leader Afonso Dhlakama and President Filipe Nyusi, take steps to accelerate the peace process.
Reis visited eight districts in Cabo Delgado, where he undertook the restructuring of party machinery with the aim of securing victory in the upcoming local and general elections.
