Mozambique: President 'has no intention of staying on' despite election deadlock

Renamo has condemned the persecution of members working for the Mozambican government, which has allegedly been taking measures which showing a lack of political will towards true national reconciliation.
The complaint about the alleged persecution of Renamo cadres and members working in the civil service was made by Renamo general secretary André Magibire during a recent visit to Cabo Delgado.
These and other problems affecting the lives of its staff and members bolstered Renamo’s determination to govern the country, even in the present term, Magibire said.
While in Cabo Delgado, Magibire met Renamo staff and members in the city of Pemba.
