Mozambique: Teachers denounce 'compulsory transfers' as a form of 'psychological pressure'

Opposition party Renamo has declared victory in the October 10 municipal elections in Matola with 133,059 votes, or 48.6% of the poll. The party has said also that it is on the look-out for any attempt at fraud.
Matola is Mozambique’s second largest municipality.
This statement was made at a press conference held on Friday by Renamo.
According to Renamo Provincial Delegate Clementina Bomba, her party’s delegates who were at the 706 polling stations have already processed 92.35% of the results.
Also according to the provincial delegate, Renamo is worried about the results that are being announced because they are not true.
The announcement of Renamo’s alleged victory in Matola was made in the presence of members and sympathisers of Renamo in Matola, who are already celebrating.
