IUCN in Mozambique supports Bárue district in restoring the source of the Cagole river in Báruè
More than 900 Pemba residents in neighborhoods of the Cabo Delgado capital have been adversely affected by the heavy rains in the north of the country over the last two months.
The mayor of Pemba, Tagir Carimo announced the figure recently on the “Dialogue” radio programme, adding that the rains this year have partially or totally destroyed 83 homes and 34 kilometres of dirt road in the province.
