Zambézia: Morrumbala-Derre road cut by rains - Radio Mozambique

The National Institute of Meteorology (INAM) predicts, for this Tuesday (12-11), moderate to heavy rain (30 to 50 millimetres in 24 hours) locally heavy (more than 50 millimetres in 24 hours), accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds in the districts of Matutuine, Namaacha, Boane, Moamba, Magude, Manhiça, Marracuene and the cities of Maputo and Matola (in Maputo province), and also in the districts of Massingir, Chókwe, Limpopo, Bilene, Chicualacuala, Mapai, Mabalane, Chibuto, Guijá, Chongoene and the city of Xai-Xai in Gaza province.
For the provinces of Tete, Zambézia, Manica and Sofala, partly cloudy skies with periods of very cloudy weather are expected, with light to moderate local rainfall, mainly in the provinces of Tete and Manica, and a possibility of thunderstorms. Light to moderate northeast to southeast winds are forecast.
In the provinces of Niassa, Cabo Delgado and Nampula, INAM is predicting partly cloudy to very cloudy skies with light to moderate local rainfall, sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms, and light to moderate northeast winds.
