PRM agent arrested for lending uniform to robbers

An officer of the Police of the Republic of Mozambique (PRM) and his accomplices are being held in the cells of the 12th Precinct police station in Maputo accused of lending out his uniform for the commission of criminal offences.
The officer is alleged to have lent his uniform to a gang that engaged in the robbery of homes and businesses, but has admitted only to letting it be worn by “henchmen” who were helping him patrol the neighbourhood.
