Mozambique’s private business sector is to meet at the end of this month in Maputo for a conference to discuss the diversification of the economy and self-sufficiency in food production.
The event is sponsored by the Confederation of Economic Associations of Mozambique (CTA), and about seven hundred business people, union members and state officials are expected to attend.
CTA Executive Director Luis Sitoe says that the event marks the twentieth anniversary of the annual private sector conference, and will give participants the opportunity to share experiences from China, Nigeria and Mauritius.
