Prime Minister Carlos Agostinho do Rosário today starts a working visit to Niassa province aimed at monitoring the degree of implementation of the government’s Economic and Social Plan and Five-Year Programme.
The prime minister will direct an extraordinary session of the provincial government, visit some socio-economic enterprises and inspect the Cuamba-Lichinga road works.
Carlos Agostinho do Rosario is accompanied by Minister of Public Works, Housing and Water Resources Carlos Bonete, Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance Maria Isaltina Lucas, and Deputy Director General of the National Institute of Disaster Management (INGC) Casimiro of Abreu.
The working visit to Niassa ends on Sunday.
