President Nyusi swore in Gloria da Conceição Adamo and Samuel Justino Miambo as deputy attorney generals on Wednesday morning.
In the presence of members of the Superior Council of the Magistracy of the Public Prosecutors, the president demanded the accountability and closer approximation of the organs of justice to the public.
At the same ceremony, a new member of the National Human Rights Commission, Ismael Panachande, was also sworn in.
Before assuming the position of deputy attorney general, Gloria da Conceição Adamo was deputy attorney general of Maputo City and Samuel Justino Miambo was an adviser to the Attorney General.
The justice sector in Mozambique has recently been subject to internal restructuring to address the new challenges it faces.
