President of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic visits Mozambique

President Filipe Nyusi on Wednesday receives his counterpart from the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, Brahim Ghali, at the start of his official visit to Mozambique.
The head of the state of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic arrived in Maputo yesterday evening for a three-day official visit to the country, during which legal instruments for bilateral cooperation will be signed and visits to economic enterprises conducted.
Ghali’s visit to Mozambique comes in response to an invitation extended by the Mozambican head of state and aims to deepen the historical relations of friendship, solidarity and political-diplomatic cooperation between the two governments, as well as to strengthen cooperation within the ambit of the African Union.
A statement from the presidency states that during his visit, the president of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic is accompanied by his Minister for Foreign Affairs and other members of his government.
