President Filipe Nyusi has begun a three-day working visit to Sofala and Nampula provinces in central and northern Mozambique today.
A presidency press release says that the president will inaugurate the Dondo-Chibata power extension line in the district of Dondo in Sofala, accompanied by the Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy, Letícia Klemens.
In Nampula, President Nyusi will direct a graduation ceremony at the Samora Machel Military Academy and lay the foundation stones for the construction of Nampula General Hospital and the Nampula-Nametil Road.
The agenda also includes the inauguration of a wheat mill in Nacala district, owned by MEREC Indústries Moçambique SA.
Accompanying the president to Nampula are the Ministers of National Defence, Atanásio Salvador M’tumuke; of Health, Nazira Abdula; of Industry and Commerce, Ernesto Max Tonela; Public Works, Housing and Water Resources, Carlos Bonete Martinho and Youth and Sports, Nyeleti Mondlane, along with staff of the presidency and other state institutions.
