Mozambique: President acknowledges challenges after 50 years of independence

President Nyusi on Thursday received Rodrigo Baena Soares, Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil to the Republic of Mozambique, for a farewell visit.
Ambassador Soares said in a press statement that the meeting with the Mozambican head of state was an opportunity to present his farewell greetings on completing his 3-year and 2-month mission in Mozambique.
Ambassador Soares announced that, at the meeting with the president, he had given an account of relations between Mozambique and Brazil in the areas of education, health, agriculture and professional technical training, and taken the opportunity to wish the president and government of Mozambique many further accomplishments and successes.
