Mozambique: Pemba City Council holds meeting with Miss Kissambi candidates

The president of Camões, the Institute for Cooperation and Language, Ana Paula Fernandes, is making a working visit to Mozambique from Monday, with an agenda that includes the inauguration of the Language Centre at Eduardo Mondlane University.
The Portuguese Embassy in Maputo said in a statement that Ana Paula Fernandes will also take part in the inauguration, in the cities of Maputo and Beira, of the exhibition “50 Steps to Freedom – Portugal, from the Dictatorship to 25 April”, which commemorates the50th anniversary of 25 April 1974. Fernandes will also learn about some of the most emblematic projects of Portuguese cooperation in Maputo, Sofala and Nampula provinces.
The visit, which runs until Friday, will be an opportunity to “strengthen bilateral co-operation, namely through institutional meetings with Mozambican authorities at government, provincial and municipal level”, reads the note.
Ana Paula Fernandes has been president of Camões since 2023 and is visiting Mozambique for the first time in this capacity.
