Mozambique: Chapo attends African Union Summit

President Filipe Nyusi starts this Wednesday a four-day working visit to the United States of America (USA).
During his stay in that country, President Nyusi will be honoured by the International Conservation Caucus Foundation (ICCF), in recognition of the commitment and actions undertaken by the government of Mozambique in the context of nature conservation.
In Washington and Houston, the head of state will hold working meetings with US political authorities, World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF) leaders , entrepreneurs and the Mozambican community resident in the US.
Nyusi will also participate in trade promotion activities and interact with academic and scientific institutions, namely the International Republican Institute, Institute of Peace and Atlantic Council.
In this visit, the Head of State shall be accompanied by First Lady Isaura Ferrao Nyusi; the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Oldemiro Baloi; Industry and Commerce, Ernesto Max Tonela; Land, Environment and Rural Development, Celso Correia; Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Mozambique to the United States, Carlos dos Santos; High Commissioner of Mozambique to the Republic of South Africa, Paulino Macaringue; staff from the Presidency and other State institutions and Mozambican businesspeople.
