Mozambique: Mondlane hits back at claim that election protests did more damage than civil war

The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, starts a three-day working visit to the province of Maputo today Thursday.
The Mozambican head of state will visit the districts of Marracuene, Magude, Namaacha, Moamba and Boane, where Nyusi will hold meetings with local governors, visit enterprises of economic and social interest, conduct rallies, among other activities.
Accompanying the President of the Republic, are the ministers of State Administration and Public Service, Carmelita Namashulua; Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Oldemiro Balói; Minister of Interior, Jaime Basílio Monteiro; and the Deputy Ministers of Economy and Finance,Maria Isaltina Lucas; Industry and Commerce, Ragendra de Sousa; and members of staff of the Presidency of the Republic and other State institutions.
