Mozambique: Chapo calls for sustainable development of municipalities

President Filipe Nyusi is making a five-day working visit to the Niassa Province from tomorrow on.
The head of state will work in the city of Lichinga and the districts of Sanga, Muembe and Lago, where he has scheduled meetings with local governments and other stakeholders, and will attend popular rallies and visit enterprises of economic and social interest.
In Lichinga, the president will direct the opening ceremony of the Tenth Niassa National Culture Festival and preside over the delivery of 5,000 desks to the Lichinga Secondary School.
In the district of Sanga, Administrative Post of Matchedje, President Nyusi will direct commemoration ceremonies of the 50th Anniversary of the Frelimo Second Congress.
During this visit, President Nyusi will be accompanied by the Prime Minister; by the Ministers of State Administration and Civil Service, Carmelita Namashulua; Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, José Pacheco; Public Works, Housing and Water Resources, Osvaldo Machatine; by the Deputy Ministers of Culture and Tourism, Ana Comoana ; Education and Human Development, Armindo Ngunga; of Combatants, Maria de Fátima Pelembe; Finance, Maria Isaltina Lucas; and the Governor of the Province of Manica, Alberto Mondlane; members of staff of the Presidency of the Republic and other State institutions.
