Post-electoral: No transport to central and northern regions of the country

The President of Mozambique, Filipe Jacinto Nyusi, will participate this week in the general debate of the 71st session of the United Nations in New York and will contribute to the proceedings with a speech scheduled for Wednesday, September 21.
The 71st United Nations General Assembly brings together the heads of state and government, foreign ministers and other dignitaries of 194 countries, and is this year guided by the theme “The Goals of Sustainable Development: A Universal Impulse to Transform our World”.
Also in New York, and at the invitation of US President Barak Obama, the President of Mozambique will participate in the United States–Africa business forum.
The president is accompanied by his wife, Isaura Nysu, Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Oldemiro Baloi, Industry and Trade, Ernesto Tonela, Land, Environment and Rural Development, Celso Correia, along with ambassadors, staff of the presidency and of other state institutions.
