Kenmare earnings tumble as former chief Carvill weighs improved bid
The President Nyusi has just officially opened the village of Quitunga, in the Palma district of Cabo Delgado, where the families from the area covered by the natural gas liquefaction project led by the US oil company Anadarko are being resettled.
In addition to houses of various description, the village has a hospital unit with a maternity ward, general wards and other facilities. This Monday, Filipe Nyusi visited the hospital and interacted with health professionals.
In the village, the head of state also visited a model house, which has electricity and piped water. The village also has a police station, to ensure safety and public order.
