President Nyusi dismisses Deputy Chief of Staff of the Mozambique Defence Armed Forces

President Filipe Jacinto Nyusi has dismissed through a Presidential Order Olimpio Cardoso Caisse Cambona as Deputy Chief of Staff of the Mozambique Defence Armed Forces (FADM).
According to a statement from the presidency cited by Folha de Maputo, to take this decision, the president acted under the powers conferred by paragraph e) of Article 161 of the Constitution, together with the c) Article 30 of Law No. 18/97 of 01 October and with paragraph 3 of Article 9 of the Organic Structure of the Mozambique Defence Armed Forces, after consultation with the National Council of Defence and Security.
It is recalled that in 2013, President Armando Guebuza, had extended the mandate of Olimpio Cardoso Caisse Cambona as Deputy Chief of Staff of the Mozambique Defence Armed Forces,
