Mozambique: President Chapo begins two-day visit to Rwanda

President Nyusi is today attending the Extra-Ordinary Summit of the SADC Double Troika in Gaborone today.It is expected that the Extra-Ordinary Summit will consider the political and security situation in the SADC region.
In his capacity of president in exercise of the SADC Organ on Politics, Defence and Security Cooperation, Filipe Jacinto Nyusi will, among other matters, conduct the works for reviewing the findings of the Commission of Inquiry on Lesotho set up by the SADC in July 2015, and explore proposals for the reconciliation process there.
President Nyusi will be accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Oldemiro Baloi, and staff from the presidency and other state institutions.
The SADC Double Troika is made up of the following countries: Botswana, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Mozambique, South Africa and Tanzania.
