The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, this Wednesday congratulated former Mozambican head of state, Armando Guebuza, on the occasion of his 78th birthday.
In a note, Flipe Nyusi says that Armando Guebuza’s life and work are inextricably linked with the country’s history and the struggle for the nation’s freedom from Portuguese colonialism.
The head of state writes that the former president’s career stimulates the country’s youth to question the way of life imposed by colonialism.

O Presidente da República, Filipe Nyusi, felicitou esta quarta-feira o antigo estadista moçambicano, Armando Guebuza, pela passagem do seu septuagésimo oitavo aniversário natalício.
Numa nota, Flipe Nyusi diz que a vida e obra de Armando Guebuza está ligada a história do país na luta pela liberdade nacional contra o colonialismo português.
O Chefe do Estado considera que as obras do Antigo Presidente de Moçambique, despertam a vontade da juventude de questionar o modo de vida imposto pelo colonialismo.
